First of all, Happy New year everyone!
The blog may have been quiet here on Anderson & Co but there has been a hive of activity behind the scenes, what better time to reflect on the year past & make plans & to do lists for the year ahead.
2015 was the year Anderson & Co was launched to the general public & my goodness we have been busier than I could have ever imagined in our first year, with a depth of range of clients taken on & services required.
We had a great uptake on our initial preferred cloud services offered – Kashflow. We have also had the opportunity to train & assist with clients already using a multitude of various software programs.
A fantastic knowledgeable employee was taken on in Autumn 2015 to ensure that despite our increasing client portfolio our top class service we promise to all clients could be maintained.
I joined Moray Business Women back in March 2015 & as the spearhead of Anderson & Co have been involved with many activities in MBW from the initial showcase where I talked about change (and my Dysons hoover!), making presentations on cloud accounting, taking part in the marafun team & be short listed for the award of Moray Business Women professional women of the year.
Add to this Anderson & Co entered a team to do the 5k & 10k races at the Baxters Race in Inverness in September 2015 in aide of the Eve Rose Foundation, the ladies involved were myself, Andrea McIntosh, Dionne Ritchie & Miranda Lovie (ER founder). We raised £510 for the foundation & everyone enjoyed the occasion (well once it was over!).
I can not quite believe it is 2016 already, the dreaded January tax return deadline is upon once more, but never fear we are up to date & ready to meet all our clients deadlines whether tax, VAT or accounts.
We have now added a new bow to our string & can now reveal we are now a Xero Accredited Partner, this is another cloud based accounting system which we hold in high regard & believe between Kashflow & Xero we offer a great selection of programs to our clients.
Finally we with our clients, friends & connections all the very best for the coming year.
Now to set some new resolutions…..what will yours be?
